My Monster

I think I have a slight obsession with Carter's line of "Monster" clothing.

It all started with a newborn outfit Jack's Godmother got him: (Picture taken December 31, 2009)

Then I found this outfit, complete with monster pants, that I adore: (April 24, 2010)

I even picked up this onesie at Target, made by Circo: (June 27, 2010)

Carter's also makes cute monster pajamas that I haven't been able to find, but I'm not giving up! I love these outfits so much, that when I saw this outfit (part of Carter's new fall line) at Kohl's this past weekend, I just had to get it:

It's in size 18 months, so he should be able to wear it this fall. Jack wears these outfits well and they are my favorite! I hope Carter's continues to make them and I'll continue to search for those pj's. I love my little monster!

By the way, did you notice how much my little monster has grown? I love my big boy, but it does make me a little sad!

Before I go, I have to let everyone know about the delicious applesauce I made tonight. I'm not even a huge fan of applesauce, but I'm going to make more this weekend so I can have some too. I used 1 Gala, 1 Red Delicious, 2 Braeburns and a little cinnamon. I don't know if it was the combination of the different apples or what, but it turned out great and much better than when I made it before. Last time I used Fuji's and boiled the apples; this time I steamed them. It was tasty and I hope I can replicate it!

I was just reading today that the key to good homemade applesauce or juice is using 3 different types of apple..so good job on that :)

Love Jack's little monster wear...you are right that he wears it well! Isn't it crazy that they are getting so grown up...so fast?!? I am not sure I like it...

It's so fun to compare pictures and see how much these little guys have grown and in such a little period of time!!!! The Monster clothing is so cute... I am a sucker for anything with a Monkey on it... maybe since I call B my little Monkers or Monkey. Hehehehe.
How do you steam the apples?

Thats cute! I love the monster stuff too. I bought him a cute little brown onsie that says mommy's little monster that has green piping around the neck arm and legholes. I should take a picture. I got it on diapers.com...only place Ive seen it though...but it is carters.

I'm a total monkey fanatic too! I have loved monkeys since I was little. I used to tease my husband and tell him I wanted one for a pet...haha. But I have to settle for putting my little guys in monkey clothes instead ; ) I buy monkey anything I see pretty much...and Carter's seems to cater to my addiction pretty well. :)
