Playdate

Yesterday Jack had his first real playdate, if you can even call it that. He isn't playing with toys yet and he just laid there looking around and kicking his legs. There were quite a few babies there ranging in age from 2 months to 10 months. Jack was the youngest there. There was one group of crawlers and another group of "layers". If was interesting to watch the crawlers. There were 2 in particular who really liked to move and explore. The moms had to basically follow them and watch their every move. They all said to enjoy this time where Jack stays where I put him. A lot of the moms also commented on how much he was talking. I talk a lot so it looks like he takes after me!

There is a 4 month old baby who is 6 weeks older than Jack, named Oliver. We've seen him 3 other times. He's a chunkster and so cute! His mom always comments on how big he is, but it looks like Jack is bigger.

We tried to get a picture with all the babies but there were too many. It's nice for Jack to be around other babies though and hopefully we're both making new friends!
