Happy Tummy Time

I had no idea that Jack was going to be such a big boy. I expected him to be wearing 6-9 months clothes during summer and I bought a few things last year that were on sale. He's already wearing 3-6 months right now so he'll probably be in 6-9 in the beginning of summer but not by the end. I'm hoping his growth slows down a bit but I'm guessing he'll always be ahead in sizes. I bought him a cute six month outfit back in January not knowing it'd be too small by the time warmer weather came around. So I put him in it yesterday for a photo shoot.

The outfit has a cute frog on it's butt and I figured this would be a great opportunity for some tummy time while I got a few pictures.

We usually do tummy time for a few minutes every day and Jack gets frustrated quickly. Tummy time ends when he starts to cry. He gets this look on his face that says, "why are you doing this to me and why aren't you doing anything to stop it?"

After the initial shock wore off, he seemed to be okay and he didn't cry!

He even got happy while on his tummy and looked like he was enjoying himself!!

I couldn't believe he lasted so long! But all good things must eventually come to an end.

One day soon he'll be able to roll over and then he won't need me to save him from the tummy time torture. We'll find out later if it was just a fluke, but hopefully he's starting to enjoy it a little more!
