Tuesday Randomness

This past weekend our local fairgrounds hosted the Tot Swap. Anyone remember when I posted about it back in March? It's twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. I was really anxious for this sale because I desperately needed to get Jack some fall and winter clothes. He is wearing 18 months now so I focused on that size as well as 24 months (which I figure he'll be wearing for most of winter- crazy!). I bought him a few new outfits, but I wanted to wait to see what I could find at the sale before I bought too much. Well I'm happy to report that I pretty much got Jack's entire fall and winter wardrobe at the sale for about $100!! I just need to find him a winter coat, hat, and maybe boots, and we are all set. Woohoo! I also got more than 15 books which is great because he absolutely loves books. I found some Mega Blocks sets for when he's older and a really cool Little Tykes sports toy too. I'm thrilled to have found such great stuff and I saved a lot of money!

Enjoying the beautiful weather and showing off one of his new outfits from the tot swap:

Saturday we went to an ice cream/yogurt party. I enjoyed a big bowl of ice cream (4 different flavors) with every topping I could find while Jack chowed down on a bowl of yogurt with cut up bananas and raspberries. Yum! Jack still didn't seem satisfied so I gave him a baby mum mum to munch on. He was nice and shared some with his friend, Eva.

We had a great weekend, but it always go by way too fast. We are going to be very busy all of October, with something planned every weekend. But it's all fun stuff like a pumpkin festival and a Halloween party for babies!

And now I leave you with a really cute video of Jack. He had been eating some cauliflower and started making this noise that he's been doing lately. It's similar to blowing raspberries but not quite the same. See for yourself!

Oh, and tonight was one of those nights where Jack did not fall asleep nursing so I put him in his crib awake. He fell asleep on his own without making a single peep!! I think it really helps that it's now dark out when he goes to bed. Whatever it is, I love it and hope it continues!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Woohoo! Awesome sale! I wish I knew about something like that here! I need to head to a few consignment stores because all the stuff I had saved from Cameron is not going to fit Ethan! It's all 12 months will be too small probably before his bday! AHH!

Super cute video...he is so adorable.
