Carousel and Train rides

We were very lucky to have extremely beautiful weather over the weekend. I've been having some car troubles this summer and have been trying to stay as close to home as possible. I decided to make an exception to take Jack to Wheaton Regional Park. It was only about a half hour drive and it was so worth it! They have a huge playground, lots of picnic areas, and a carousel and train ride. I took Jack on both and we had a great time.

Making sure we're tall enough for the carousel:

Here mom, have some grass:

Jack has started feeding me (mostly his toys) and it's really cute! I love the stage we're in right now. It's a lot of fun! He is very playful and adventurous and such a sweet baby. I really hate leaving him for so long. It's getting worse and worse, but I'm working to provide a good life for him with lots of opportunities. I also want to send him to a great preschool when he's 3 and it isn't cheap! My short-term goal? Getting us a new, safe & reliable car!

Give yourself a HUGE pat on the back for doing what you have to in order to give Jack a life you would like him to have!!!! I try to do this for myself.. I wish I could figure out something so that I could work part-time or some other thing where I could be with B more... but for it to be better pay-wise and health ins. wise.. that would be super tough to figure out....!!!! So goes life, right? :)
