Wordless Wednesday: Playing with food

Jack tried cauliflower tonight for the first time. He was confused by it (maybe the texture?) but ate a few bites. Some fell onto his tray and he tried to pick it up and put it in his mouth. He was refusing the spoon, so I thought "what the heck?" and let him have at it. (Ok, so not entirely wordless!)

That's fabulous! I tried to give Asher some finger food avocado yesterday and he just smeared it around. Way to go Jack!

By the way, I love love your desk at work!!

Awww...

You're brave...I've been considering finger foods but am nervous about the major mess and the textures!

BTW - I read somewhere that if you coat foods that are sticky (bananas, avocado slices, etc) with ground cheerios, they're much easier for baby to pick up! Just a tip!

OMG - I love the new look (forgive me if it's not new - I usually read on my phone and it won't let me see cute little graphics like the tree with the owl!)

I wish I could enter the giveaway but that wouldn't be fair, huh? haha

Jack is just adorable! I haven't tried giving Anne cauliflower yet, but she really loves broccoli. So I'm optimistic about cauliflower!
