Studio Pictures

Yesterday we went to Target Portrait Studios to finally get some pictures done. I had no idea what to bring or what poses to do. I'll definitely bring more props next time and better outfits. Overall, I'm very happy with how the pictures turned out. Jack did great!

I took these pictures from their website, so they're not the best quality, but you get the idea. :)

I love them! Had I known they were gonna do the Harley pic with the bike, I would've put him in his Harley shirt. It's still cute though. And just for fun, here is my 6 1/2 month picture:

And Jack's:

I think this pose of his is the closest to mine. The back of my picture says 6 1/2 months, but I feel like he is so much bigger and more advanced at the same age. It doesn't look like I could sit up, but he looks like a pro. He is also starting to look less like a baby and more like a kid. :( We do have the same bald head and chubby cheeks though!

I'm not sure if we'll get pictures again before one year, but we'll definitely go back for his first birthday pics. I definitely recommend Target. I found some good coupons and it was very inexpensive. Plus the pictures are available online for 2 years and anyone can order them. That's great for the grandparents!

Oh, and fyi: I found the monster pajamas! Well, I found the 3-piece set in size 18 months. I'd still love the one-piece footed pj's, but I'm happy to have found these.

Hope everyone had a great holiday!

They're perfect! And you're right, it doesn't look like your sitting unsupported. I wish I knew ages of my baby pictures to compare as well. What a stud!

Too cute! I didn't know that Target had portrait studios!! I wonder if that's exclusive to your area??

I love them all, but particularly the Harley one and the fourth one down - how handsome is he???

It looks like he's sitting up really well! Isn't it so nice to be able to sit them down and have them play on their blankets and be able to grab a glass of water or go to the bathroom? I'm dreading when Ava goes mobile and I can't just plop her down for a minute or two!

So adorable! Im hoping to take Ethan back this week to get his actual 6 month photos since the lady didnt bother much when we did our family ones. I didnt know Target had portrait studios either! Hmm. They are all great photos though. And he looks a lot like you at the same age...other than you not quite sitting yet. He looks like he is sitting great! Ethan still wont...still doin the tripod thing when he bothers...lol. His big brother started sitting at 5 months...so I guess its just evidence how different babies develope huh?

Oh and LOVE the PJ's!!!

I love your baby picture! I need to go find one of me to compare at the same age. Jack's harley picture just makes me smile. He couldn't have had a better expression if he tried!

Yay for studio pics!!! I will have to try Target studios next, maybe. We actually went to Kiddie Kandids, which is inside the Babies R Us store, and it went alright. I just wanted to use the coupons that they had going on since they just reopened after having been closed for a while. What kind of coupons did you find?? Did you find them online? I love coupons!! :) How long did your session last?

Jack's smile is sooooooooooo cute..and contagious. Even just thinking about it makes me smile myself. :)
