Yep, Jack was the Hulk for Halloween! It was great! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a great picture of him wearing his costume, but I did get some decent ones. We went to a playdate/potluck with my mom's group. The family hosting blocked off their living room and it was a great play space for the 15 or so babies that showed up. There were a ton of people and a lot of great food. We had a wonderful time and everyone loved Jack's costume. I love that it wasn't a typical cutsie costume and it's lightweight so he didn't get hot. He's also a big, strong guy and made a great little Hulk! Enjoy some pictures from our day!
I didn't notice until I was home looking through the pictures that Jack's hand is on Eva's leg. So cute! And I LOVE the cow. She was adorable!
Some of the families had already left when we decided to try and get a picture of all the babies. Well it was after 5 and we had been there for awhile. A lot of the babies were tired and having meltdowns. We tried though!
Notice how they all have something to occupy them? Cell phones and a camera case. It kept them happy, but looking down! We had a great time though and Jack did super. I'm realizing just how independent he really is. Most of the other babies, at one point or another during the party, realized mom and/or dad weren't right there and they got upset (or mom never even left the baby). Jack didn't care one bit. I went and got food, ate, talked with other parents, played with other babies, and Jack was perfectly happy exploring this new place and playing. We were there for 4 hours and he only got upset as we were leaving because he was really tired. He's not a clingy baby at all and is (almost) always happy. Sometimes I wish he needed me more (not just when he's tired or hungry) but I am so proud of him and feel so lucky to be his mama! It's also nice to be able to go to the bathroom and eat without worrying about him or hearing him whine. :)
Yesterday we were surprised with a visit from my grandma and great-aunt. I will post about that separately!
Have a great week! Oh, and have any other December mamas noticed that now that we are in November, our babies are turning one NEXT MONTH?! Craziness!

OMG - the cuteness! I die!
Those baby costumes are all adorable, but Jack's is definitely the best. What a great, original idea! I've seen so many bees like Ava, but no other Hulk! Good job, mama!
Oh, and that little pumpkin is super duper cute!
You're so lucky to have a moms group with so many similarly aged babies!
AHHHH, ADORABLE!!!! That fits him perfectly!
I agree, that seems like a fun mom's group. Bryson only has a few little baby friends his age. So glad Jack had a great 1st Halloween!!
I, seriously, could not think of a better fitting costume for Jack! He looked absolutely adorable. I bet he was the hit of the party.
oh my gosh, I LOVE baby Hulk!!
I've never seen this costume anywhere. Where did you find it? It suits Jack perfectly! :o)
It looks like you had a fun party. Jack is so well adjusted - it's great that he plays well with other babies and doesn't get too upset when you aren't right there. That's a good thing!
I absolutely love his Hulk! He is adorable...and It's different! Looks like a great time with your Moms group! Love all the pictures.
LOVE the costume. It's perfect for him!! He is so so cute!!
