I try to remember every day how blessed I am, but today especially. I have so much to be thankful for this year. I have a happy, healthy, beautiful baby, a good job, a car that gets me where I need to go, a roof over my head, and wonderful friends and family. And those are just the more important things.
I almost never go home (to New York) for Thanksgiving, but I am missing my family so much right now, more than usual. I think it's because I haven't been home since Christmas 2008 and I don't plan on making a trip up there until sometime next year. Jack is going to be a toddler before he meets his extended family. :( But we're lucky to have some great friends here and most importantly, my dad. I don't know where I'd be without him!
We had a very nice relaxing day at home, watching the parade and enjoying a yummy dinner. All in all, I think it was a great first Thanksgiving for Jack! I'm disappointed that the "baby's first" outfits only go up to size 12 months, but Jack had a couple cute bibs to wear today.

Thanksgiving 2010:
What a big change in just one year! I love sharing the holidays with my little turkey. He makes everything so much more exciting and wonderful!
Breakfast:
Jack's first Thanksgiving dinner:
Jack enjoyed turkey, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and stuffing. He seemed to enjoy it and finished everything!
Jack was exhausted and went to bed before the pumpkin pie was cut. I'll give him a taste tomorrow!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Rene and Jack!
I love his turkey bibs - too cute! Can you believe how big our bellies were last year?? I much prefer carrying the weight in my arms. :o)
Happy Thanksgiving!!! I love the belly shot. Can you believe we were all still cooking our "turkeys" last year and now they are almost one!!!
