At 11 months, Jack:
*weighs 25 pounds
*is 30 inches tall
*is wearing size 18 months or 12-18 months clothes
*is wearing size 4 diapers but when the pack is done, we're moving on to size 5!!!
*wears a size 4 1/2 extra wide shoe (but there is some room to grow length wise)
*has 5 1/2 teeth - 3 on the bottom and 2 1/2 on top (one has come through some but doesn't seem to want to come out any further)
*nurses twices a day and gets two 6 1/2 ounce bottles of breastmilk at daycare - we're still exclusively breastfeeding and haven't had to supplement! Woohoo!
*eats a wide variety of table foods and eats 3 "meals" a day most days. He eats cheerios and Mum Mums for snacks.
*drinks water out of a straw sippy cup. Soon that water is going to be replaced with milk!
*has started crawling on all fours but he's still army crawling too. He goes back and forth between the 2!
*pulls up on anything and everything and cruises around things. It's so cute to watch him take little steps!
*can bend down to pick things up while he's holding on to something for support. It's too cute!
*points at things!
*is a chatterbox unless he's around unfamiliar people. He says Hi and a ton of other things that I can't understand. It's cute to listen to! He also says mama but he doesn't know yet that I am mama.
I feel like I am forgetting something. Jack is just such a joy and is usally always happy. He almost never cries unless I try to put him down when he's tired. He gets impatient when it comes to food and he definitely loves to eat! He also loves water. I actually let him drink from my cup sometimes and he's really good at it. I think it's going to be super easy to make the transition from bottle to cup. I hope I didn't just jinx myself!
Time for pictures! This was by far the hardest month yet because all he wants to do is sit. He crawls to get what he wants and immediately sits up once he has it. I lay him down and in a second he's back up again. So I got some good pics of him sitting. :)
I made sure he had a bunch of his own blocks, but he still wants to grab mine. So I stacked some on top for him to grab so he wouldn't mess up the "eleven". It worked pretty well!
Who's the most awesome mom for getting 6 blocks to stay on an eleven month old's stomach long enough to snap a picture? The blocks were scattered all over as soon as I took the picture. I barely got it but I got it nonetheless! Woohoo!!
Jack, you are such a blessing and I love you through and through. Happy 11 months, sweet baby!
