9 Months?!

Jack is growing super fast and has almost (If not already) tripled his weight. It's really crazy. I'm about to move him into size 3 diapers! When I went to the TotSwap last month, I tried to find 6-9 months clothes because I don't have very much. I bought a 9M Carters outfit that I'm using as pajamas and last night I decided to try it. It fit!!!! Granted, it is used and has probably been washed more than a few times and may have shrunk, but it's still a 9 month outfit. And last weekend I put him in a brand new 9 month Disney outfit and it fit him perfectly. I do think Disney runs a bit small, but the fact that the tags say 9 months and they fit him pretty good is a little scary. I'm so not prepared for him to be in 6-9 months yet. He does have some room to grow in his new pajamas, but they definitely fit him better than the ones he had been wearing previously and they look a lot more comfy.

It was really warm today so I put Jack in a few of his 6 month outfits before he grows out of them. My dad rides a Harley and I wanted to get Jack a onesie that says "My grandpa rides a Harley." Unfortunately, they never seem to have it in the right color (they always have pink) or the right size. When I was pregnant, I got him this one as an alternative:

Jack wore his Hawaiian shirt while we went shopping, waiting for my car to get an oil change. I wore him in the mei-tei while walking around Target and Hallmark and used his new stroller to carry our stuff. When we went to Subway for lunch I needed a break and he got to test out his new ride.

It's a Maclaren Triumph and I really like it. I think he does too! The only thing I don't like is that this is as far back as it reclines. At least I think so. The instructions are a bit weird but this is as far back as I can get it. It's fine for riding in and looking around at everything, but not as good for sleeping in. I still like it though and it's extremely light-weight and folds down really small. A plus for my small Saturn.

I figured Jack needed some time to stretch out after our day out, so I put him in another TotSwap find (only $1!!). I love his dino butt!

We had a good day, but we're both pretty exhausted! I'm really looking forward to his first Easter and taking pictures of him with his bunny ears! Is it possible to blind a baby with too much flash? I seriously have over 1,500 pictures of him already! :)

Holy cow - you must have some great milk! :) that's awesome, though. Better to be thriving than not :)

I gave wondered that same thing about the flash - Ava is fascinated with the camera and turns toward the noise it makes when I turn it on because we take so many pictures. You can't have too many pictures of your baby!

We would LOVE mail, and happily send something back. I had a pen pal when I was a child and still have some of her letters in my scrapbook!

What a big boy!!! I can't believe he is already in 9 mo. clothes!! How much does Jack eat daily?

I can't believe you get so many bright-eyed pics with a flash? I haven't used flash in pics of B ever really...but we too have thousands of pics! Gotta love digital :)
