Jack is officially wearing 6-9 months clothing and size 3 diapers. With a new size comes a new wardrobe. He's got some fun new outfits and I can't wait to dress him up! I found a great outfit from Carters that consists of a shirt that says "Baby's First 4th" with a pair of swim trunks that have stars on them. So cute! I'm in search of an outfit for him to wear to a wedding on Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions on where I can find something a little dressier other than Target and Kohls?
I'm happy to report that another month has gone by of successfully breastfeeding/pumping. I'm really happy to have made it to the 4 month mark and my next goal is 6 months. I thoroughly enjoy breastfeeding and don't plan on stopping until Jack is one. However, the pumping isn't quite as fun and I'm trying to just take it day by day. It's a bit overwhelming to think that I still have 8 months left so I'm trying to think on a smaller scale. After I reach my 6 month goal, I'm going to take it month to month. Jack gets 3 bottles at daycare and I nurse him 3 times at home. I increased his bottles from 4 1/2 ounces to 4 3/4 ounces about 2 weeks ago. Not a big jump but I didn't want to go straight to 5 and risk wasting milk. I'm waiting until his appointment, which is next Friday, to discuss this with his doctor. I've been very lucky (and am extremely thankful) and haven't had to supplement. I hope it continues to go well!
Enjoy some pictures from our 4 month photo shoot: (he's looking more and more like his mama and I love it!)
Sitting up but about to topple over. Don't worry, mama was there to catch him!
Jack was very fascinated by his quilt. He kept moving his hand back and forth over it, rubbing it and staring at it. It was neat to watch!
My little thumb sucker
I adore this boy!
Happy four month birthday, Jack. Mama loves you so so much.

Happy 4 months Jack!!! CUTE CUTE CUTE pics!!!! How big is he now?? I can't believe he's already in 6-9 month clothes!!! And wow, sitting up?! Wow!!! Great job with the breastfeeding... I am thinking to make it to at least 6 months... pumping during work sucks. But we are doing what's best for our babies!!!
