This is the backyard Friday at 3:30pm:
That's my motorcycle and the tree that fell over during the last snow fall in December.
And here it is today around noon:
My bike is completely covered and the neighbors have a tree that is now hanging very low, right above my bike.
And of course I took lots of pictures of Jack today. He's been smiling more and more and he's focusing on my face a lot more which is really exciting! I love it when he looks at me and smiles! He's recognizing who I am. He's also sucking on his fingers more. Sometimes he finds his thumb and sometimes it's a finger or knuckle. He doesn't take a pacifier too well so if he can soothe and occupy himself with his fingers, that is fine with me!
He is such a big boy that he is also rapidly growing out of his 0-3 month clothes. Gerber runs small and I've already retired those onesies. Circo runs a bit big though so those onesies will fit for a lot longer. I'm really not looking forward to starting him in 3-6. He's not even 2 months old yet! I have plenty of clothes waiting for him, but past 6 months I don't have a whole lot. I tried doing the whole weigh myself and then weigh again while holding him and it says he is 12 pounds. At his last check-up he was 12.1 and that was over a week ago. So who knows! I just know that he is changing so much week to week and getting so big! He was on my shoulder today and lifted his head up and held it there. It's amazing to watch the progress and see the changes.
I am in love with these little feet!
Just when I think I can't love him any more, he gives me one of these big smiles. These smiles make up for the fussiness and lack of sleep!

Whoa! Already in 3-6 clothes?!!! What a big, growing boy you have!!! I have just started Bennett in some 0-3 as he has just outgrown all of his NB clothes. Although it's a totally different story for Gerber onesies, they are so small!!!
