He's getting bigger every day and the car seat is getting so heavy to carry. I just got a ring sling and I'm starting to carry him in that which is much better for both of us. I have a pic that I took of us, but it's hard to see how great this really is.
I also ordered something called a mei tei which hasn't arrived yet. I'll post pics of that when I get it. It's more of a wrap and would be great for longer trips. The ring sling is good for a quick trip because there aren't any buckles or straps to mess with. These will really come in handy when the weather is warmer and we go out more. I wore Jack in the sling out to dinner Friday night and it was wonderful. There wouldn't have been room for his stroller so I was glad I had used the sling. He just slept the whole time!
We go for his 2 month check on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to seeing how much he has grown, but not to all the shots he has to get. We're going to come right home and have some quality cuddle time. I'll post how it goes and hopefully some great 2 month pics.

Where did you get the ring sling? I purchased a Moby wrap but haven't used it much... and not sure I would ever wear it in public. I'm trying to find a carrier like a Baby Bjorn or something. Good luck at your appt this Tues...ours is Thurs. I am DREADING the shots. Are you going to give him a little Baby Tylenol before you go to your appt?
I got my sling at SweetPeaRingSlings.com. They have inexpensive ones at sleepingbaby.net (about $20) so if you don't know how you'll like it, that's a good place to start. I don't like the Bjorn but want to get a Beco which has buckles. I am definitely going to take them out in public as much as possible! For the appt. I plan on bringing some tylenol with us and asking the doctor what she recommends. I'm not looking forward to it but I gotta be strong for the little guy!
