Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is Jack's first Valentine's Day. I love his little outfit! He'll be getting dressed up for every holiday this year since they will all be his first. Now that Jack is here, no holiday will ever be the same; they'll be more special and fun!

Yesterday we went to my office for a bit then met some friends at Panera. Then some other friends called and invited us to meet them at the mall. With all this snow we've been getting, I definitely needed to get out of the house. Apparently so did everyone else! It was ridiculously packed. When we first got there Jack was awake and I took him out of his car seat. I thought he'd get overwhelmed by all the noise and people, but he just stared up at all the lights. We left the house around 9:30 and got home around 6:30. He didn't cry once! He started crying on the way home but that was because he was hungry and getting tired. I couldn't believe how good he was the entire day. I'm so proud of him! Being out that long meant that I had to nurse in public for the first time. At the mall, I fed him in the food court 2 different times. It was a bit awkward at first trying to get him positioned comfortably and get the cover on, but we got the hang of it and it wasn't so bad. It can only get easier and more comfortable from here.

What size did Jack wear? I was stupid and got my Bennett a NB not realizing he would probably be too big for it... and my goodness it fit him like a glove... a very tight fitting glove. Haha.
