Things are going really well. I'm actually starting to get stuff done around the house now. When Jack falls asleep nursing, I like snuggling him close to me but I'm trying hard to put him down at least some of the time so that I can get stuff done. He's really good too. He sleeps like an angel in his pack n' play and when he wakes up, he just lays there and looks around. Usually I'll notice his hunger cues and pick him up, but he doesn't cry that much. I know he's only 9 days old, but he's doing really good right now. I hope it continues!
I think I really need to start napping during the day though because I am not getting enough sleep at night. He's good at night too but just when I'm falling asleep, he'll want to eat or he'll be awake or gassy. I do manage to get a few good hours of sleep each night, but it's starting to catch up to me. I'm just glad I'm getting any sleep at all!
This morning we woke up and I went to change his poopy diaper. As I'm cleaning him up, he sprayed pee everywhere!! It's the first time it's happened and probably won't be the last. It didn't get on me thankfully and it was actually quite amusing. The joys of having a boy!! I love it!
I gotta go put the laundry in the dryer before he wakes up hungry!
