Some family from New York stopped to see us on their way home from Florida. They were just passing through, but I hadn't seen Fran in about 4 years and he has a 4 month old now. Fran was like a step-dad to me for 8 years and it was great seeing him and his new family. His wife has a 6 year old daughter, Hannah, who is too smart for her own good. Then there's their new baby, Robert, who is super cute. We joked that Jack is like Robert's bigger and older nephew. It's a little weird but fun! I didn't get any pictures of the adults, just the kids. Oh well!
They were later than expected and Jack was super tired (I kept him up), but he was a trooper. I figured we could make an exception just this once!
Sunday we had lunch and went to the park with Jack's dad. Jack tried a Baby MumMum on Saturday and loved it. It was a great way to occupy him while we were eating and he charmed everyone around us. The waiter looked at him and said, "Woah, I don't want any trouble. You're bigger than me. You look like you could be in the baby UFC." It was funny! Sometimes I get annoyed with strangers commenting on Jack's size. It happens all the time and we can't go anywhere without someone saying something. But this guy was funny and I didn't mind at all.

We had a wonderful weekend! It always go by too quickly, but I'm looking forward to having 3 full days with my little guy this coming weekend. We're going to a 2nd birthday party for my friend's son, which I'm really looking forward to. The rest of our weekend is wide open so who knows what kind of fun Jack and I will get into!

Jack is so cute!!!! I love the pictures!!!! I can't wait for the 3-day weekend either... have been thinking about making it a longer one but trying to hold out til he gets older {next year} and I can take days off and we can go hang out at the zoo, or something else for a day. :) Hope you guys have fun doing whatever you find to do this long weekend!
Looks like you had a fun weekend! The Babay UFC comment made me laugh..and I can relate to the size comments. One of the first things people never fail to say upon seeing Jack is "wow. he looks underfed". Drives me crazy!!

Just ignore people's dumbass comments. I have people tell me what a giant Ava is all the time, then had a woman in the grocery store tell me today how tiny she is. In a nutshell, I've quickly learned that people don't know what they're talking about :)
