Cutest picture ever!

I seriously love this picture so so much, but not as much as I love the baby boy in the picture! It's getting harder to make Jack smile for pictures because he doesn't want to sit still. He wants to play and move and reach for my camera. But I got some smiles this morning while he posed in his Redskins outfit in preperation for the game tonight. I actually submitted this photo in the Gerber Generation contest for September. Voting starts on Sept. 3 and I will be begging asking for your votes! Yes, I've become that mother. :)

Here are a few more pictures to get you through your day:

This was last night. I couldn't resist almost waking him to get a picture of this adorable pose!

I love the mei-tei and it is still comfortable for me to wear and Jack to nap in!

I got this as a hand-me-down while I was pregnant and decided to give it a try a couple weeks ago. I like how versatile it is and it entertained Jack for quite a while!

He's getting too big for my small car!

Jack had fallen asleep on the way to the grocery store after I picked him up from daycare. I didn't want to wake him so I carried him in my left arm, asleep on my shoulder, and carried a basket in my right. Not an easy task with a 22+ pound baby. I was almost done when he woke up, and I decided it'd be nice to get some more things so I put him in a shopping cart. Have I mentioned how awesome I think it is that Jack can go in the cart now? It makes shopping so much easier and I LOVE being able to see his face! We have an Edde Bauer cart cover that works well enough and I usually use that.

Our county fair opened today and I'm looking forward to taking Jack and stuffing my face with fair food. Read: funnel cake! I'm hoping they have at least one baby ride he can go on and I want to get his caricature if possible!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I love the picture of Jack in the cart - the one with the pouty face. He is so adorable! (I think I say that every time I leave a comment on your blog...what can I say? he's just too cute!)
You totally have our vote in September :)

BTW: Funnel cake is amazing. When we were at Disneyland, they had some that they called "fantasy Funnel Cake" and I think it had either whipped cream or frosting on it...we should have gotten some. Oh well - it's almost time for the pumpkin patch and theirs is delicious too!
