To celebrate the first day of October, Jack wore his new (glow-in-the-dark) monsters shirt and we planned to go to Oktoberfest (despite the not so nice 50 degree weather). Unfortunately it rained too much and we had to miss it. I really hope it's nice this weekend so we can go to the pumpkin festival as planned!

Yay October!! :) Time to get serious about picking out costumes! Jack and I might dress up together and if not, I think he's going to be Elmo. He doesn't like wearing face masks, so the superheros are out, and he loved the train conductor costume but it's too big for him. Pottery Barn Kids does have some super adorable costumes, but I don't want to spend too much for something he's only going to wear once! Does anyone have costumes for their kids yet? Anyone doing family costumes?

I'm with you on absolutely LOVING the month of October. We just had our first cool front come through Florida which brought our temps down into the 80s. So very nice! I'm hoping for a nice weekend as well so we can hit the first pumpkin patch/festival of the month. Yay! Jack is incredibly adorable in that monster shirt, by the way.
