ABC's, manners, and artwork

Tonight, Jack correctly identified every letter of the alphabet. I'm such a proud mommy!

He also says "bless you" now when I sneeze. I love this! But the cutest thing is that he even says it after he sneezes. :) I have a little cold right now and every time I blow my nose he says it then too. It makes being sick a little more tolerable! He's learning some good manners. When he asks (or shouts) for something I ask, "How do you ask?" and he will then say please. I always say "thank you" when he gives me something and I tell him when he needs to say it too. Now he says it on his own without any prompting. And when I tell him thank you he says, "you're welcome". Sometimes he says thank you back to me. So sweet!

Jack painted his first picture on Sunday. I found a really neat fall picture on Pinterest (yes, I've jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon) and I knew we had to do it. It didn't quite turn out like the one here, but that's okay. It's a great keepsake! After we finished making our fall tree, I let Jack have a go with the paintbrush. He actually doesn't like getting his hands too dirty so finger painting will take some getting used to, but he LOVED painting with the paintbrush. All he could say was, "painting!"

Jack's tree (these pictures are not that great...all artwork looks better in real life!) :)

Painting for the first time (I need to give him a smaller paintbrush next time):

He also loves coloring with crayons and the other day while I was cooking, he sat in his high chair coloring. He made lines with a few different colors and called it a rainbow. I was shocked. He kept pointing at it and saying, "rainbow!" So cool and I will definitely be framing it!

He also draws in circles and will point and say "O" for the letter. So Jack can sort of draw an O. Amazing! I adore this kid. :)
