Birthdays Galore!

I don't want to get too behind on posting, especially since today is Jack's birthday and I have some special posts planned!! I just wanted to share a couple of pictures from the parties we went to earlier this month. On the 12th, we were lucky to be able to help celebrate Asher's birthday. You may recognize him! ;)

Last Saturday we attended Evangelina's big celebration. They had a princess themed party for "Eva the Diva". It was really cute and full of pink!

Jack and Eva had a big weekend. Eva's party was on Saturday and Jack's was on Sunday and they attended each other's parties. It's great to have friends who live right around the corner with kids the same age. I'm still working on arranging their marriage. ;) Ethan also came to both parties so it was a big weekend for him too.

I'll post pics from Jack's party tonight (hopefully). It turned out great but I'm glad it's over! Advice to anyone who hasn't had the first birthday party- give your child a cupcake for his/her smash cake. I made Jack a 9-inch cake and put it on his high chair tray. I did end up cutting it in half and breaking apart the cake to help him eat it. But he ate a TON of frosting and I don't think he felt very good the rest of the afternoon. I felt soooo bad! It was my fault for letting him eat it and he's never really had sweets before. I went to all the trouble to make a healthy cake but I covered it in an unhealthy frosting. I learned my lesson and from now on he's just going to get a lightly frosted cupcake!

Alright, it's time to shower and get started on Jack's birthday breakfast!
