2010 Christmas Card

I haven't been posting very much this month, but other things have been taking my time. Such as chasing after an almost one year old (gasp!) and wrapping presents after he goes to bed. All of Jack's birthday presents are wrapped as well as all the Christmas presents. Yay! I'm also finalizing things for his birthday party which is just 6 days away. I finally found some decent favors and now I have to get the goodie bags together. I hope the kids (and parents) like them! There will be 7 or 8 kids, most ages 1 and 2. My concern is that the party is from 12:30-2 and we can't arrive earlier than 12. I have to get balloons in the morning and then somehow get those, the cupcakes, the snacks, and Jack all there in one piece by 12:15. When is Jack supposed to eat and nap??? I'm thinking I might be able to feed him at 10:30, put him down for a nap, then run out to get the balloons (my dad will be with him) and be back before he wakes up. Wishful thinking, I know. I'm not going to stress too much. He can always take a nap when we get home!

Anywho, my cards have all been mailed out now and I figured it was time to reveal it here (even though most of you got one!). My friend Sarah is a great photographer and has her own business- Eden's Cove Photography. If you live in Maryland and need a good photographer, give her a call! We have around 250 pictures from the shoot and I revealed my favorites last week. There are tons more good ones which really surprised me. Jack was very interested in the leaves and grass and wasn't paying much attention to us. But she captured some wonderful smiles and I love them.

I ordered the cards from from Shutterfly and I will definitely be using them again. I was very pleased with how easy it is to navigate their website and with how quickly they shipped me my order. I played around with a couple different designs and went back and forth on which pictures to use. I'm really happy with the final product!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating a special little guy's first birthday. Some of you may know him- the adorable Asher. This Saturday we are celebrating our friend Eva's first birthday and then on Sunday it's Jack's turn. It's quite the birthday month. I will post later about all the special first birthday's!
