29 years young!

You guessed it- today is my 29th birthday! Because it's a work day, it's been just like any other day but it's still my favorite day! I am a huge birthday diva. That is why I could never combine Jack's birthday with Christmas, despite them being just 2 days apart. He will always have a special day just for him! I even took the day off work so we can spend his first birthday together. I'm really looking forward to it! But back to me. :)

It's hard to believe I'll be 30 next year. I certainly don't feel older and I don't think I look it either. However, I am weirdly looking forward to 30. I guess I'll have to plan something big!

Last year my coworkers surprised me with a baby shower on my birthday. This year we're going to celebrate on Monday because a few people were out of the office today. Just one of the benefits to working for a small company!

My first birthday as a mama! Jack even gave me a sunflower and some German chocolate (courtesy of his daycare provider).  Such a sweet boy (and a wonderful daycare too)!

Tomorrow we're getting our Christmas pictures done. I'm so excited!! Don't worry, you'll be the first to see them. :D
