Jack's First Day at Summer Camp!

When Jack was just 3 months old he started going to a home daycare. He went there for more than 4 years and he became part of their family. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better place for Jack to spend his first years. He got great care and one-on-one attention, something I couldn't find in a daycare center.

In 2015 Jack will start kindergarten and I knew it was time to transition to school. He's been the oldest at his home daycare for awhile now and he needs to be with kids his own age. There's been a baby at the home daycare for the past 7 months or so and Jack really misses him. It's so sweet! Jack adores babies so that's the one thing he misses most.

I found a daycare that teaches a Pre-K curriculum and prepares kids for kindergarten. Right now they're having summer camp and Jack is loving it!

Here are a few pics of Jack at his home daycare throughout the years:

This was Isaiah and Jonah's (brothers) last day June 2012- their family moved back home to Missouri and Jack still talks about them and misses them!

Jack's last day:

There were tears from from the adults! It's hard to say goodbye but Jack was so happy to start "big boy school" so that made it much easier. We went back to visit and she had some soup packaged in a container for Jack to take home. She made homemade lunch for the kids every day and that is something I definitely miss! We live very close so we will be back to visit whenever we can!

On his last day she gave Jack a Ninja Turtles backpack and lunchbox for him to take to his new school. He loves it and that's what he uses!

Jack's first day of Pre-K Summer Camp, June 16, 2014:

It's only been 3 weeks but Jack already loves it! He comes home talking about his friends every day. And I absolutely love his teacher! I signed him up to do karate on Mondays and they have water days once a week. Every day when I pick him up he's hungry and tired. School wears him out! And he's having a blast!
