Jack is always picking
After church we came home and had a nice, relaxing day. We've been so busy and it was nice to stay at home and not have any obligations.
We heard the ice cream truck and ran to catch it. Jack got a Spider-Man popsicle, which he clearly enjoyed! :-)
Those eyes!
Jack and I enjoyed some random snacks for our lunch. Flaxseed chips and baby carrots with hummus and an orange. I wanted to eat light because I wanted to go on an afternoon run. That's the only thing I wanted to do on Mother's Day, besides be home with my guys. While I was out, Sidney was preparing a delicious dinner for us.
Baked salmon with peppers, onions, and mushrooms, corn, green beans, and baked sweet potato. It was delicious! The best part? I had enough leftovers to take for lunch the next 2 days and it was even better the second and third time around!
We had a wonderful day at home. Sadly I didn't get any pictures of Jack and I, but I am so blessed to have this boy call me mommy. He's sweet, silly, smart, and all-around awesome! He makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes but isn't that in the job description? Kiss boo-boo's, dry tears, occasionally pull out your own hair? Ha! I love him to pieces and wouldn't have it any other way. :)
