There's an awesome playground where the race was held so we let Jack loose so he could get some exercise too.
Jack and I spent the afternoon at home and he "helped" me make dinner for grandpa. It didn't turn out the way it was supposed to, but we all ate it anyway! Grandpa even had seconds, so it couldn't have been too bad. ;)
In other news, I'm gearing up to take Jack on his first road trip (and first time away from home!) for the 4th of July. We'll be visiting family that I haven't seen in 2 1/2 years and he has never met. I'm so excited!!

Yay for you on your 5k!!!! I really admire you for being a runner... this is something that I dream of achieving. Maybe someday.. when I get off my lazy bum. ;)
Looks like Jack had a fun day and that road trip for the 4th sounds fun. How long is the ride???
