Last Tuesday we dyed Easter eggs:
Saturday morning I took Jack to an Easter egg hunt at a local elementary school, but forgot my camera. We had a lot of fun and they did a great job. Younger kids got to go out first and people seemed to be trying to make sure everyone had a fair amount.
Jack got some Easter goodies on Sunday morning and went on another hunt around the apartment. I did better than last year making sure not to go too crazy and got more practical items and less candy. But next year I'm making sure to stick to just 1 basket and only get what will fit in the 1. Christmas and Easter are about so much more and that's what I want to focus on as he grows up. I'll save the craziness for his birthday. :)
We went to church all dressed up and took some pictures afterwards:
The best part of the morning was Jack saying to me, "I didn't know you would be so beautiful in that shirt. And those earrings." Heart.Melted. He is such a sweetheart!
My dad came over for dinner and I made turkey and artichoke stuffed shells with green beans, salad, and garlic bread and my dad made a yummy cheesecake for dessert.
Jack loves his Grandpa. :-)
Happy Easter and Happy Spring!
