Jack's daycare was closed the week of June 24th and I took 3 of those days off work (1 day was spent with daddy and 1 day at a friend's house). We had way too many treats and a whole lot of fun!
I broke out the board games and Jack learned how to play Candyland and Chutes & Ladders, both of which he now loves!
We met friends at the library for a reptile show:
We picked blueberries and sugar snap peas:
And we had monster cookies at the Corner Bakery:
We stayed home for the 4th of July and my dad grilled yummy burgers. I should also note that it had been over 4 years since my dad has grilled. It was great!
We went to Bruster's to get ice cream and watch the fireworks from their parking lot. Jack doesn't like loud noises and we hadn't taken him to see fireworks yet. This was far enough away but close enough to see some fireworks! He liked them but started to lose interest after awhile.
Getting ready to ride his trike (and having fun with the water bottle!):
And one last one just because it's so cute!
We hope everyone is having a great summer!
