Jack and I enjoyed a wonderfully beautiful day yesterday. We started out by having our morning snack on the front porch where we shared a strawberry milk (which he was surprisingly indifferent about and wanted the carton more than the actual drink).
Then I let Jack crawl around and explore some
With grandpa:
Then I decided to go for a run (our first of the year!) and Jack took a good nap while I enjoyed the scenery.
After he woke up, it was time to go inside and eat lunch. We enjoyed the sun and can't wait for spring to officially get here!
You can read more about our run on my other blog- Adventures in Running.
On a side note: Jack has been sick with a terrible stuffy nose since about Thursday. Neither of us has been sleeping well and I've been letting Jack sit in bed with me and watch Sesame Street in the middle of the night. My mom got him "40 Years of Sunny Days" on DVD and it makes me miss the old Sesame Street from when I was a kid. I love it! Last night he actually stayed in his crib the whole night, but I would periodically hear him cough or strain to breathe so I didn't sleep very well. I don't think he slept very well either, but he didn't cry out for me at all so I let him be. I feel so bad for him! He's been fine otherwise and hasn't lost his appetite, which is great. His bottom molars are also coming in. On one side, I can actually feel a hard ridge and you can see a white line. I hope it breaks through and he feels better soon. I hate hearing/seeing him suffer!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Aww, that's awful about him feeling sick. So sorry :( I hope he starts sleeping better soon!
What a fun day! I tried to give Asher a milk "juice" box the other day and he gave it a (predictable) BIG squeeze and it squirted everywhere. Funny, but not helpful. :o) Jack looks like a pro already!
B hasn't figured out straws just yet... but we are working on it. :)
Yay for getting a run in! I can't wait for things to start to thaw out around here in MN. Spring cannot come soon enough for us!!!! We are starting to get cabin fever!!!!!
B has been sick for a while now... and so has Mommy. We are both finally on the healing path and can't wait to be 100% again!!!
Hope Jack feels better SOON!!!! I hate when babies are sick!
Poor Jack! I hope he's feeling better. Presley hasn't gotten any of her molars. In fact, she still only has 2 teeth on the bottom.
What a wonderful day and wonderful weather. I would really like to get back into running, but I fear my muscles have atrophied due to lack of use. Ha!
I love all your sunny pictures! Im jealous! We probably won't see much of that until late May :( I am so ready for DRY and Sunny weather.
Sorry to hear he is sick :( We are STILL sick too. It's been two weeks and I think it is deciding to hang on a while longer. It's awful! I hope Jack's tooth comes through and maybe he will feel better. Maybe that's why he's got all the cold symptoms? At least we can hope anyway. Sick babies are no fun.
